Didsbury · So much better than a kennel
I didn't want to drive my cat 45 minutes out to a cattery on the outskirts. Finding a home boarder right here in Didsbury was a lifesaver. The house was lovely, strictly no cages, and I could drop him off easily before my flight. He came home completely relaxed.
Sarah J., Didsbury
Chorlton · Saved us last minute!
Our usual sitter cancelled 3 days before our flight and I was panicking. Cattery 001 found us a host in Chorlton immediately. The house was lovely and totally cat-proofed. The daily photos of Luna sleeping on the bed put my mind at ease. Honest life savers.
Emma W., Chorlton
Salford · Daily videos saved my holiday
Leaving my rescue cat is always stressful. My sitter in Salford Quays sent me WhatsApp videos every morning and evening. Seeing him chasing toys on the sofa meant I could actually enjoy my trip without guilt. Highly recommended!
Mike R., Salford
Manchester · Perfect for my shy cat
My cat is very timid and hates loud noises, so a traditional cattery wasn't an option. The sitter in Manchester City Centre was so patient. She sent me updates showing my cat slowly starting to eat and play again. It felt like leaving him with family.
Lucy T., Manchester
Altrincham · Finally someone who understands grooming
I have a high maintenance Ragdoll who needs brushing every day or he gets matted. I was worried a sitter would ignore this, but the lady in Altrincham was amazing. She brushed him every evening and he came home looking pristine. Highly recommend for long-haired cats.
James P., Altrincham
Stockport · Will never use a cattery again
I used to use a big cattery near the airport but my cat always came home grumpy and thin. Tried this home boarding in Stockport instead and it’s a completely different experience. He was just chilling on the sofa in the photos. It’s worth every penny for the peace of mind.
Sophie B., Stockport
Manchester · No sulking when we got back
Usually when we use a drop-in app, Alfie ignores us for three days out of pure spite when we get home. This time we used Cattery 001 and he came back from his host family so chilled out and purring. Actually living with someone makes a massive difference for clingy cats.
Callum D., Manchester
Didsbury · Miles better than a freezing pen
Used a cattery out near Stockport last year and our tabby came back smelling like a hospital and shedding from stress. Decided to try Cattery 001 this Easter. Dropped him off in Didsbury at a lovely warm house. The DBS-checked host sent us WhatsApp videos of him sleeping on her lap. Never using an outdoor cattery again.
Chloe M., Manchester
Sale · No more metal vet cages
Our senior Persian needs thyroid meds, so we used to just dump him at the vet's boarding bit. Poor lad hated the barking dogs and tiny metal cage. The host in Sale was amazing, sorted his meds out perfectly and he got a whole spare bedroom to himself. Worth every penny tbh.
Rachel W., Sale
Chorlton · 20 min drop ins aren't enough
We've got a seriously needy Sphinx who just cries if left alone. Paid for Cat in a Flat visits before, but 20 mins a day is a joke for him. Leaving him with a proper family in Chorlton for the Easter bank holiday was the best decision. Got daily HD vids of him hogging the radiator. So much peace of mind.
