She deserves a medal for dealing with Barnaby
average rating is 4 out of 5
Barnaby is not a nice cat. He hisses at everyone and hides under the sofa for days. I warned the sitter, but she just let him be. She didn't try to force cuddles, just made sure he ate and was safe. She actually managed to get a photo of him sitting on the windowsill, which is a miracle. If she can handle him, she can handle any cat.

Perfect for my indoor ragdoll

I live in an apartment in the Jewellery Quarter and needed a sitter who strictly understood 'indoor-only' rules. The sitter Cattery 001 found was amazing. She had a secure flat nearby and sent me videos of my cat, Mochi, watching the birds from her window. Total peace of mind.

Much better than the drive to the cattery
average rating is 4 out of 5
We usually drive to a cattery near the airport but the cat screams the whole way in the car. Decided to try this instead. Found a lady in Harborne who has a massive garden window. Cat seemed fine when we picked him up, not sulking like usual. Will definitely do this again, saves the hassle.

I was nervous but it was fine
average rating is 5 out of 5
First time leaving my rescue cat with a stranger so I probably texted the sitter too much! She was lovely about it though. Staying in a real home in Sutton Coldfield suited my cat much better than a cage. She actually ate her food which she never does at the kennels.

Sorted us out last minute
average rating is 5 out of 5
Our usual sitter cancelled on us 2 days before our trip. Panic stations. Found these guys on Google, they sorted a meet & greet for the same evening. David was sound, keys were easy to drop off. Cat was alive and fed when we got back.

Reliable. Turned up on time.
average rating is 5 out of 5
Needed someone last minute for a work trip. Just wanted someone who actually replies to texts and turns up. David was sound—picked up the keys, fed the cats, sent a quick video each day. No issues.

Good with my grumpy old boy
average rating is 4 out of 5
My cat is 18 and can be a bit snappy if you pick him up wrong. Was worried a sitter wouldn't have the patience. The lady in Moseley was great though, she just let him be and gave him his meds in his food without a fuss. He looked well fed when I got back.

Followed my chaotic instructions perfectly
average rating is 4 out of 5
I admit I left a 4-page note of instructions because my cat has a specific diet and I'm paranoid about the back gate latch. The sitter (Sarah) didn't bat an eyelid. She even watered my tomatoes which were dying in the heatwave. The daily logs were detailed enough to stop me worrying. Very professional service.

My husband was convinced it would be a disaster
average rating is 4 out of 5
I had to drag my husband into this—he was convinced giving a stranger our keys was a terrible idea. We met the sitter in Harborne and she was lovely, clearly knew her stuff. By day 3, even he was looking forward to the WhatsApp updates. Happy to admit I was right and he was wrong!" Claire & Tom, Birmingham
Birmingham · They didn't force him to come out
average rating is 5 out of 5
My rescue cat spends the first 3 days of any trip hiding under a bed. A normal cattery would just leave him there scared. The home boarder in Birmingham was so patient—she set up his food and litter near his hiding spot and just let him be. By day 4, he walked out on his own because the house was quiet and calm. That patience means the world to me.
